League debutants Onduparaka FC seek their first victory as they travel to the Champion Stadium today to take on home side Bright Stars as the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) match day two takes course.

The Arua based Caterpillars had a promising start to the league after holding Soana FC to a goalless draw at GreenLight Stadium last week on Friday.

Fred Kajoba’s Bright Stars on the other hand also managed to hold Abdullah Mubiru’s Vipers SC to a one-all draw at Nakivubo Stadium.

Elsewhere, league defending champions KCCA FC are plotting to raid Lweza FC in a trip to Muteesa II Memorial stadium in Wankulukuku. The Kasasiro Boys had a great start to their title defence with a 2-1 victory over JMC Hipppos while the Kajjansi Boys lost their opening game 1-2 against the Red Eagles.

Once again, coach Mike Ray Mutebi will place his trust in veteran striker Geoffrey Sserunkuuma to hunt for goals against his former side. Enterprising midfielder Muzamiru Mutyaba is also back from injury and will be available for selection for the KCCA side.

Ibrahim Kirya on the other hand will be eager to avoid a second straight loss.
