Local musicians Maro and Geosteady entertained revelers at the maiden Kampala Rolex Festival that was held at the Uganda Museum grounds on Sunday.
Geosteady was the first on stage shortly after dusk. He got the crowd dancing with his irresistible single “Same Way”, before paving way for the main act of the day, Maro.
Maro kept the crowd on their feet with some of his songs like “Mubbi Bubbi”, “Rising Star” and “Kamboyine” among others.

There were also performances from Milege band, Undercover Brothers, Eddie Wizzy and Gifted Music Group. The crowd was also kept entertained with music mixes from deejays, Thomas and Rachel.
The event attracted people from all walks of life including State Minister for Tourism, Hon. Godfrey Ssuubi Kiwanda and former Minister for Tourism, Maria Mutagamba.
The Kampala Rolex Festival, a brain child of former Miss Tourism Busoga Enid Mirembe, is an initiative to promote the Ugandan delicacy beyond our borders. Rolex is mostly sold as a road side snack and consists of eggs, chapatti and often vegetables.
