South African media personality and actress, Abby Plaatjes is already in Kampala for the highly awaited Uganda Entertainment Awards.
The former Big Brother contestant who is widely known locally for her romantic relationship on the reality TV show with celebrated media personality Gaetano Kaggwa arrived yesterday.
Speaking soon after arriving in the country, the former South African housemate asserted that Uganda is her second home. “I am finally here and glad to be back. This is home, actually,” she said. “I am looking forward to the Uganda Entertainment Awards. I will be there, so should you.”
Meanwhile, Abby’s imminent reunion with Gaetanno has stirred excitement among many. With Gaetano set to present an award at the ceremony along with his Beneath the Lies co-stars, it will be inevitable for the two to meet again.
The Uganda Entertainment Awards will be held at a red carpet ceremony this evening(19th August) at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
