Uganda is made up of all sorts of people who want to make their mark on the entertainment, music, TV etc industries. Television has a whole park of pretenders who shouldn’t be on the screens at all. Sometimes one switches on their TV and is left wondering how these people found themselves in the job.
Here is a list of five people that are, but should not be on television.
Number 1: Sheilah Gashumba
Her dad will tell you that Sheilah was made for TV, that she has been on television since her childhood days, but guess what, she is not one that will get you running home to catch her talking. Her voice alone has made people hate their TV sets to the extent of punching them. How did she get to TV?
Number 2: Kyle Duncan
Forever upcoming musician Kyle of the Uptown fame is one of the faces that you don’t want to see on TV. Even when he was in Big Brother Africa, the continent was buzzing with people shouting for him to be kicked off. And yes, he was voted off. His show Skizzy had to be taken away from him by Urban TV management because no one was even watching it. He was given another show called Smash which was taken away from him, then he was given The Hood which was also taken away. He is currently doing other things, and not TV. Pheeew, thank God!
Number 3: Mary Luswata
Remember the gossip queen, Mary Luswata, who is returning to TV soon? Well, she sucks… at least that is what most Ugandan viewers think. From abusing different celebs on TV to getting into personal fights on screen, she has branded herself as one of the worst TV presenters in Uganda. We hope she doesn’t show up again.
Number 4: Tuff B
We don’t know why viewers don’t enjoy his show, but this musician turned TV presenter has been highlighted as one of the most unpopular presenters. Tuff who has a show on NBS TV every Saturday has a lot to do to get to the levels of MC Kats, Esco MC and the like that he so much tries to mimic.
Number 5: Denzel
Urban TV’s Denzel is a man of his own vibe. He will run his show the way he wants, not minding about the viewers or anyone else. The Rated next winner has also been named by fans as one of the faces they don’t wish to see on TV.
