To further strengthen its operations in Uganda and neighbouring markets, Crown Beverages Limited (CBL) has appointed Semion Kizza and Yunus Bbaale Nsanja as, the new Head of Information Systems and Head of Quality Assurance & Food Safety, respectively.

Mr. Kizza who has been the Systems and Database Administrator (Oracle DBA) replaces Mr. Frank Kombe who served CBL for 14 years until last month, while Mr. Bbaale who has been the Process Improvement Manager, replaces Ms. Margaret Muzaaki Kamukama, who retired recently, after 20 years of dedicated service to the company.

In addition, a new Head of Human Capital has been identified and shall replace Ms. Saudah Kayima, who has moved to pursue personal interests.

Commenting on the new changes, CBL’s Chief Executive Officer, Simon Lugoloobi said the appointments take immediate effect because of their importance to the business.

“I wish to congratulate Semion and Yunus upon their appointments. We have seen them grow through the ranks at CBL and believe they have the desired competence and experience to build onto the successes of their predecessors in our drive to deliver high growth and better quality products to our customers,” said Mr. Lugoloobi.

Lugoloobi thanked the outgoing staff for their contribution to the growth of CBL in Uganda and urged them to remain its ambassadors. The appointments are in line with adjustments in the business strategy aimed at delivering better sales, in response to the current market dynamics.
