KCCA FC signs goalkeeper Douglas Kisembo from Police FC

KCCA FC signs Douglas Kisembo on a 3-year deal

Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) champions Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club have continued to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season by signing goalkeeper Douglas Kisembo from Police FC.

The custodian who was unveiled on Friday at the Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo penned a three year deal with the Kasasiro Boys.

“Goalie Douglas Kisembo joins KCCA FC on a lucrative 3-year deal from Police FC,” reads a confirmation statement published on the club’s official Facebook page.

Speaking about joining the 11-time league record winners and 8-time Uganda Cup champions, Kisembo said; “I thank the team for the faith they have bestowed in me and I promise to give my all. I have come to play soccer.”

The goalie becomes the fourth official signing for the Lugogo based club having already secured the services of left winger Brian Majwega, strike Geoffrey Sserunkuma and 32-year-old right winger Vincent Kayizzi who joined from Express FC.

KCCA FC will open the season with a clash against the 2016 Uganda Cup champions, Vipers Sports Club on 14th August in the FUFA Super Cup.
