Comedian Anne Kansiime has received a nod in this year’s Diaspora Entertainment Awards and Recognition (DEAR). She was nominated under the category of Best Comedian.
DEAR is a mega and prestigious entertainment award that features comedians, movie actors and musicians from Cameroon, Nigeria, Liberia, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa and all African entertainment in general.
Their award system is only based on merit and its goal is to revive the entertainment industry.
The second DEAR Award ceremony will be held at Marriott Las Colinas, Texas, USA on September 3rd this year.
