Musician Bebe Cool will be hosting his fans at the “Life of Bebe Cool” concert next month. When he was asked if he feels that he has reached the pinnacle of his career, he said that he is only beginning although he is a legend that should be recognized when he is still alive. In light of this, a fellow legendary musician, Dr. Jose Chameleone has praised the Gagamel boss calling him a true legend.
Chamelone who was appearing on a TV interview on Monday evening said that as a kid he first saw Bebe Cool perform at UMA show grounds in Kampala back in Primary Six. From that time to the day he joined music, Chameleone revealed that he has respected Bebe Cool till now.
“It is not a matter of me doing better than him musically or vice versa. It is a matter of respect. I have been there with Bebe Cool and I know him. He is also a music legend. I am legendary, but I know stories that can prove that Bebe Cool is also legendary,” the singer said about his buddy with whom he was recently sniffed out having a good time at Club Play.
“The man deserves some respect. That is the reason I posted a photo of himself and I and called him a legend on Instagram after our Club Play meeting the other day. Give him respect,” he added.
This is not the first time Chameleone is calling Bebe a legend. At the beginning of this year, Chameleone called him a living legend.
He said; “Let me take this opportunity to introduce Uganda’s living music legend on stage, Mr. Bebe Cool. He is an artiste who changed the Ugandan music industry. He’s one artiste who I always looked at as my competitor but not anymore.”
