Musicians Radio and Weasel are in trouble since they are being hunted by police and could be arrested anytime from now. This comes after Makindye Magistrates Court issued arrest warrant for the duo after they failed to appear in court for two times in a row despite their lawyers, Katende, Ssempebwa and Company Advocates having received the summons on behalf of the Goodlyfe singers.
Today was the second time Makindye court was hearing their case with Jeff Kiwa but still none turned up something that prompted the Magistrate to agree with Jeff’s request for an arrest warrant of the two artistes.
Radio and Weasel who had also confirmed their presence on NTV the Beat show with Douglas Lwanga this evening, cancelled their attendance after learning that the police was hunting for them and even their phones were all switched off.
Radio and Weasel are charged with libel and offensive communication in contravention of section 179 of the Penal Code Act (Cap 120) section 25 of the computer Misuse Act 2011. It should be noted that all this came to happen after Jeff dragged them to courts of law after they uploaded a video on their social media page accusing him of being involved in child sacrifice before he came to be set free.
