Jinja based side Bul Football Club has confirmed the sacking of assistant coach Hussein Kato and the demotion of the goalkeeping coach Bright Dhaira.

According to a statement released by the club on their official Facebook page, Kato’s contract was terminated citing insufficient qualifications while Dhaira was lowered to the Junior team.

“Trainer Hussein Kato’s contract has been terminated due to lack of the necessary coaching qualifications required by the federation,” reads part of the statement.

In addition, “we can announce that our goalkeeping coach Mr. Bright Dhaira has been shifted from team A to our junior team of U17 but in the same role.”

The club management further explained that they saw it fit to move Dhaira to the lower ranks due to his experience in grooming talent and coaching young players especially goalkeepers.

Bul FC went on to reveal that Fred Lumu has been hired to replace Dhaira as goalkeepers’ coach on team A with immediate effect and also appreciated the works of those that will be departing.

Meanwhile, this comes after head coach Alex Isabirye resigned from his position late last week citing embarrassment and disrespect after being left out in the decision to fire some of his coaching assistants.

However, in a statement issued by the Jinja based side, nothing has been mentioned in regard to coach Isabirye or any plans of replacing him.
