Bobi Wine

By Lee Osbourne

Musician Bobi Wine could quit music to concentrate on active politics following the several communal activities he has been engaging in lately.

According to our close sources, Bobi is allegedly planning to contest as Member of Parliament for Kyadondo East constituency seat after the position was declared vacant on Friday, July 1st by High Court in Kampala kicking FDC’s Apollo Kantinti from Parliament over non-compliance with election rules during the February 18th parliamentary elections.

Bobi has been meeting several disadvantaged groups in the area, attending soccer competitions and interacting with residents of the place as he promises to change their situation soon.

It is also said that Bobi has gained great support in the constituency for showing a philanthropist heart to several disadvantaged people and even for refusing to participate in Tubonga nawe project and went ahead to visit Kizza Besigye when he was incarcerated at his home and recently in prison.

Bobi could end up joining other entertainers like Judith Babirye, Kato Lubwama who are currently representing their people in parliament.
