Daxx Kartel to take part in celebrity match at Wankulukuku

Musician Daxx Kartel has confirmed that he will take part in a celebrity match that is slated for this Friday (1st July) at Muteesa II memorial stadium, Wankulukuku, home to Express Football Club.

The Baala hitmaker on Wednesday met with officials from the Red Eagles camp including the club’s CEO Ram Hajib, during which he confirmed his attendance.

“Daxx will play in the celebs vs ex-players match, perform and he composed a song for the club which will be unveiled on Friday. Another reason why you shouldn’t miss,” reads a posted on the club’s official Facebook page.

Ex-Express FC players will on Friday entertain celebrities in an eagerly awaited match at the club’s Thanksgiving concert and welcome party for Hon. Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi, the new state minister for children and the youth, who also doubles as Express’ new chairperson.

The club will also be launching its theme song.  H.E Bobi Wine, the new club’s brand manager will also be present on the day. Entrance is free to all.
