Musicians who participated in Tubonga Nawe project have come out to ask the President to compensate them for the concerts they cancelled due to fear of being boycotted.

The boycott which was announced by opposition Forum for Democratic Change party forced artistes like Chameleone, Bebe Cool and Mun*G to cancel their annual concerts and others like Rema apologized to their fans for participating in the project saying they were looking for money.

According to our sources, we have learnt that these artistes are demanding Ushs 4 Billion compensation from President Museveni which is to be shared among themselves for the lost businesses and cancelled concerts.

It should be noted that this money is not included on the share they received for participating in Tubonga Nawe project and traversing with the President across the country during campaigns.
