A video showing Tamale Mirundi drawing a gun in the face of a journalist has emerged. The video taken by Simba FM CCTV shows the motor mouthed former Presidential press secretary as he stormed the Simba FM offices and drew a pistol in the face of a comedian who has been mimicking him.
Last week on Thursday, Radio Simba received a shock when former Presidential adviser Tamale Mirundi stormed their office and threatened to shoot one of their workers Innocent Kafeero who imitates him. The video cannot be posted here as Police investigations are still ongoing.
Meanwhile, Mirundi now faces arrest for drawing the pistol on Innocent. Radio Simba management has been requested to produce CCTV footage showing the events under which Mirundi entered their office, refused to sign in the registration book, and threatened to shoot down Innocent.
Investigations in the case are being handled by Kiira road’s SP Michael Kasigire who will advise on the next course of action.
Innocent is a comedian who is commonly known for imitating Tamale Mirundi both on his radio show and on comedy nights. It seems the fast rising comedian will lose his role as ‘Tamale Mirundi’ after threats from the former Presidential advisor.
The angry Mirundi stormed one of the offices at Radio Simba of a news anchor Emma Okello with his pistol and spitted fire. He said: “I am a son of Mirundi John, I don’t deal with stupidity, if you don’t warn Kafeero to back off my name and does something else, I will put sense into his head, let him find something meaning full to do or else I will shoot him.”
