Fast rising dancehall star Ziza Bafana has promised to make Ugandans forget Jamaican music.
In a recent interview, the Pomini star revealed that he can’t blame anyone for loving Jamaican music, before adding that his music is for patriotic Ugandans. “I can’t blame anyone if they love Jamaican music because that is a choice but I’m speaking about patriotic Ugandans, those who listen to my music and are contented that the Ugandan music industry is heading in the right direction.”
He added that he is ready to sacrifice his life for his country since he can exhaust everything in Luganda and that nothing can make him change from singing in his local language.
He concluded indicating that if his music is already embraced by people who are not Ugandans, then how about his fellow countrymen.
It should be noted that Bafana has released several songs and also won several awards in five years including Buzz awards, Zzina Awards, HiPipo music awards, among others
