The multi-talented artiste and a group leader of fire base crew, Bobi Wine who is launching his Akalimu album in the early days of November, has decided to line up Mr. G from Jamaica among other top Ugandan artistes.
Apparently, Bobi Wine is dishing out a huge sum of money which is said to be about USD15000 (approximately Ugx40M) to Jamaican star Mr. G to entice and seduce the celebrated artist to come and attend Akaliimu album launch. It has been alleged that the money is meant to cater for the guy’s accommodation, a return ticket and his maintenance in Uganda and apparently Mr. G is a huge spender.
This is supposedly meant to boost the numbers of revellers attending the show and for Bobi Wine to perform the songs he did with Mr. G. The songs for this duo include “Clean and out”, “girls” and “Hi-grade” and if the Jamaican happens to attend, masses will have to witness the duo perform these songs live.
Akaliimu star has a number of songs on the album and word reaching us is that the gladiator has vowed to sing all the songs ranging from his oldest to the latest.
