Tanzanian music powerhouse Diamond Platnumz says he is happy Wema Sepetu has realized there is no need to harbor hatred toward him.
Diamond notes that Wema Sepetu has shown love and patriotism towards her country by supporting his work and that of other Tanzanian artistes signed under Diamond Platnumz’s WCB Records stable.
Speaking on EATV’s Friday Night Live on June 3, Diamond Platnumz said he understands why Wema Sepetu was hostile toward him.
“There comes a time when one realizes there is no need to hate on each other. I think hostility crops when one thinks you are still connected to another and there is a possibility of getting back together. However, when one acknowledges that you cannot rekindle lost love, he or she moves on. I think she (Wema Sepetu) has come to terms with that.
“I saw she posted on social media urging fans to vote for me in the BET Awards. She also shared Rich Mavoko’s promo of a song he has recorded under WCB Records stable. I am happy with her move. I don’t see why artistes should differ,” Diamond said.
Diamond Platnumz revealed that since breaking up with Wema Sepetu in November, 2014, he has not contacted the actress and he does not have her phone number.
