Away from the wrangles and all the fights that have marred the Rwenzori region in the recent past, something new has been introduced in the region and this is non-other than the newly created Miss Tourism cluster Miss Tourism Rwenzori.
“This is time for the Rwenzori Region to shine and send out positive message to how beautiful this part of Uganda is,” said Mr Dan Bwambale, deputy speaker Kasese municipality.
The Miss Tourism Rwenzori launch, which was held at Verina Gardens, was also graced by the Prime Minister of Rwenzururu Kingdom Thembo Kitsumbire who stressed that the entire kingdom was delighted on hearing the good news that Rwenzori Region was added as the 12th Miss Tourism regional cluster.
