Former club Venom manager Gareth Onyango, who now roams all Kampala clubs since leaving the Kabalagala based club, has vowed never to go out again until he can afford his own security. This comes after he got a beating of his life at club Play last Wednesday.
While Gareth and his friends were celebrating Bobby Lugeba’s kasiki, they popped Champagne which accidentally poured on some no-nonsense Nigerian guys who had no mercy on the lad.
Gareth and friends were pounced on and it rained punches on them for close to five minutes before bouncers came to their rescue.
Gareth and friends have since vowed not to return to the club claiming their security is not tight enough to protect clients.
