Anne Kansiime

Comedian Anne Kansiime has come out to warn against social media impostors who are using the social networking platforms to dupe fans.

This follows a fake Facebook account in her names which has been making promises to reward fans with laptops.

“Please don’t be played my ninjas, lets be smart! I have one official page with a blue tick as you can see and unfortunately don’t have any laptops to start winning yet.” She posted, tagging a screen shot of the fraudster’s account.

The usage of celebrities’ names to create fake accounts on social media is rampant. Musician Fille also recently came out complaining about a similar issue.
