December 6 will be a very decisive day in the world of Showbiz in Uganda. It will also prove divisive as party animals will again be put at cross roads on whether to go for the Battle Of Champions that will pit Bebe Cool against the Goodlyfe duo of Radio and Weasel or go for the Busy Signal show. Yes people, that is one hell of a dilemma.
The Ugandan singers will be tussling out at the Kyadondo rugby grounds while the Jamaican will be entertaining crowds at the Lugogo Cricket Oval. The mayhem on that day is what I can’t try to imagine. It should be crazy on that day.
The Goodlyfe duo are banking on a very successful 2013 that saw them get nominated for a BET Award and that should be enough to pull crowds with Bebe Cool also being able to attract crowds with his star power and a fairly successful 2013.But again, Busy Signal has been quite the star this year making us rush to the floor with some huge club bangers this year most notably Watch Out Fi Dis.
Promoter Abbitex who is organizing the Battle Of Champions is confident that he will outmuscle Suudi Lukwago who is bringing the Jamaican in terms of crowds. It will be very interesting to see which concert will pull the most crowds.
