NTV’s Frank Walusimbi is over the moon after winning an Arts and Culture award at the third edition of the Uganda National Journalism Awards that were held on Wednesday evening at Golf Course Hotel.

He thanked those who made the award winning feature possible and promised to keep doing more exciting feature stories.

He said: “A big thanks to all those who make my features happen; out there and at NTV. The series SONGS OF RESISTANCE got us the Arts and Culture Reporting Award 2016 [ACME/Uganda National Journalism Award]. We have more exciting feature stories coming this year. Keep with us. Win with us.”

The awards, organised with support from the Democratic Governance Facility, celebrate and promote exceptional, in-depth and enterprising journalism that informs public debate.
