Uganda’s Lee Kasumba annouced as judge at Namibian Annual Music Awards.

Ugandan born, South African bred Leslie Kasumba is scaling the greatest heights in African entertainment circles.

The head of channel O, A dedicated Pan African Afrocentric music channel, will join the dream team, a panel of judges which includes Club Music Video Awards Judge, The internationally acclaimed columnist, producer Jasmine Dotiwala, Trace Tv’s Phillip Nwanko, and Nigeria’s 1Nusic MD Babafemi Olagbiye, at this year’s edition of Namibia’s biggest night in music.

The Ugandan brings a wealth of experience to the judges table. She started as Dj at South Africa’s biggest youth station, Y fm,and became magazine editor, and producer at the tender age of 19!

She has grown to head channel O and has worked this UN and MTV at the Global African Hiphop Summit, where she delivered a key note address to the UN and interviewed the biggest names in this planet’s entertainment world.

As the entertainment industry in Africa grows and arts gets its due appreciation, more countries are employing an experienced team of judges.
