Nigerian singer Davido came under fire for donning a Yeezus jacket featuring the Confederate flag.
In a video in which Davido shows support for singer Wizkid following his social media feud with Linda Ikeji, he is seen in a Yeezus jacket with the confederate flag stitched on either side of his arms.
Fans have however dragged the singer on Instagram following his ‘insensitive’ outfit with one saying, “some white man made his ignorant a$$ wear that confederate flag.”
The Confederate flag which was a hate symbol of the Civil War era came into use at the time of the American Civil War, from 1861-65, which was triggered by the issue of slavery.
