Rapper Keko has hang up her boots! Arguably Uganda’s best femcee, the 28-year-old musician has announced her retirement from music. Keko has revealed that her mixtape “Love from Venus” will be her final works as she goes into retirement.
“Love from Venus will be my last works, I am sorry if I have disappointed anyone but after long thought I feel it’s for the best.” She tweeted, adding; “Yes I am retiring from recording music, I hope my last compositions add to the legacy. Thank you for being supportive and buying the music.”
Although her reasons for early retirement remain unknown, the “Let Me Go” hitmaker has over the years expressed discontent with her record label as well as battled several personal problems. It is believed this could have contributed to her reasons for quitting music.
