Golden Productions is at crossroads!
The boycott of Tubonga Nawe artists has repelled promoters from investing in local musicians. The latest bite of the boycott is said to be causing friction at the break away band, Golden Productions.
It is said artistes who took part in the Tubonga Nawe project have killed off potential financial backing into shows. Those who never participated in the project are reportedly frustrated that the band has to bear the cross of three prodigal members who ate the ripe yellow fruit during the presidential campaigns.
Dr. Hilderman, Catherine Kusasira and Stecia Mayanja are the prominent members who campaigned for the president as the others rubbed their hands with glee, now they are clenching fists!!
The purported boycott has raised fear, and lack of confidence in the future of the band should the status quo remain as it is. Some band members are said to have suggested they perform without the three however their alienation could cause a potential break up. If the state of affairs is maintained, there is fear that they may be pushed to the wall.
This is the most unforeseen consequence of the Tubonga Nawe project aftermath so far. Will the chicken cross the road??
