[showmyads] A day after he performs in Kampala this Friday at the Jazz Safari, American R&B singer was supposed to have a shoe in Nairobi.

But after the terrorist attack on Westgate shopping mall last week, that show has been called off.  “ we apologise for the inconvenience caused by the unexpected news. This is especially to Keith Sweat fans and everyone who supported us. We are shaken by the events of the past weekend and we deemed it best to postpone the concert as the country mourns” said Martin Mulwa, the concert project manager.

John Blackwell who is currently one of the world’s top most drummers was scheduled to be one of the other attractions at the concert.

Blackwell as to be accompanied by his band ‘The John Blackwell Project’. Trumpeter Michael ‘Patches’ Stewart, and Saxophonist Tom Braxton were also lined up for the event.
