Haruna Mubiru

After cancelling his trip to Dubai for a concert following Radio and Weasel’s unfortunate tales from the oil rich land, Tubonga Nawe artist Haruna Mubiru has decided to swallow his ego and pride unlike his colleagues.

The band singer has come out defeated by the reality of the prevailing mood of the fans. The singer reportedly pleaded with fans to forgive him saying he was part of the Tubonge Nawe project solely for the money and not a political decision.

“Please forgive me and continue to support me. I was only looking for tea,” he stated.

Several other Tubonge Nawe artists have remained silent notably Juliana, MP elect Judith Babirye, King Saha. Radio and Weasel, Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone have been the most vocal about the project, defending their decision to participate in the project.
