After missing the first two match days of the second round, 16-time record champions, Sports Club Villa return to action tomorrow against Simba Sports Club in the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL).
The Jogoos who travel to Bombo Military Stadium on Tuesday, 1st March have recently been representing Uganda in the annual continental CAF Confederations Cup in which they performed exceptionally well.
The Blues ejected out Sudanese side Al Khartoum Al Watani on a 2-0 aggregate after managing a double 1-0 victory both in Sudan and at home (Nakivubo Stadium) on Saturday in the preliminary round of the competition.
Villa now face a struggling army side who lie second from the bottom with just 13 points from 16 league matches. The Morley Byekwaso-coached sided on Friday last week shared spoils with Soana FC at Kavumba Recreational stadium in a six goal thriller.
Meanwhile, the Jogoos are 8th on the same log with 24 points in 15 games and will be looking to close in on the top four who are just three points better. Head coach Ibrahim Kirya will once again resume full control of the side but will always step aside during the continental engagements.
