Hanson Baliruno is a 28 year old Ugandan musician based in Sweden who left the country 5 years ago to continue with his studies in the diaspora but later joined the music industry a thing he doesn’t regret.
Hanson is a versatile artiste who sings in different genres like Afro-pop, Afrobeat and Zouk among others. He is signed to 100songs music group one of the top record labels In Sweden and so far has 2 albums on his name and 10 singles including Love Letter and Follow Follow with millions of views on You Tube which paved way to his success becoming one of the top musicians in the country.
“I started singing as early as 10 years while I was singing gospel songs in church before I joined Judith Babirye in 2009. I then left the country to go for further studies in Sweden where I picked more interest in music and later I got signed to 100songs record label company which has made me a star now,” the singer informed us.
The singer has done a couple of sold out shows in different countries in Europe like; Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, Austria, and Finland among others as well as scooping some awards.
