Bobi Wine

Bobi Wine is having a tough time. The singer and businessman is said to be trading punches with an invisible hand, with the latest blow landing on his beach’s ledger book.

The singer is said to be in debt of Ugx 54M. According to a document circulating, the singer owes URA tax that has accumulated to the brow-raising figure. He is said to have been slapped a one week ultimatum or face closure.

Our sources claim Bobi’s song “Dembe” which he claims has been banned is the source of his distress. The song calls for violence-free power transition and elections. It is said to have rubbed the government the wrong way. The original version sampled a voice note of the president.
