Promoter Abitex has clashed with NRM officials over a ‘mobilization’ event he is organizing to take place on 7th February at Nakivubo stadium. The promoter is accused of duping the public into believing the said event is an NRM gathering and will thus be attended by the NRM presidential flag bearer and the incumbent President Museveni.
In a letter dated 3rd February, through their lawyers, NRM has distanced itself from the event and further asked Abitex to stop misleading the public. Read the letter in full below.
