Huawei Uganda has partnered with HiPipo to honour Ugandan artistes through the fourth edition of the prestigious HiPipo Music awards.
The awards that started in 2103, aim at appreciating and promoting Ugandan music talents in all regions of the country. Huawei Uganda today officially announced its financial support for these awards and Huawei P8 phones for various winners.
“We thank HiPipo for this wonderful initiative, where a corporate company like Huawei gets a chance to support such social causes that impact local talents in the community. The Huawei smart phones enable you to download local music, share it with friends and most importantly listen to it,” says Mr. Stanley Qin, the managing director of Huawei Uganda.
“Huawei also cooperates with its telecom partners to create music content with Ugandan music through its service delivery platform; which then becomes a caller tune that is enjoyed by all Ugandans,” he adds.
The HiPipo Music awards are slated for this Saturday, 30th January at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
