Fans to singers, Eddy Kenzo and Jose Chameleone, seem to be in conflict for the first time. The two East African giant singers were recently nominated in the same category in the KORA awards something that has left both camps at loggerheads.
Chameleone’s camp argues that Kenzo’s song Zigido wasn’t nominated for its real video but rather the comic version, which the Kenzo camp still finds to be an invalid argument. The two camps have been soliciting for votes but one camp feels it deserves more credit.
Meanwhile, the singers have not been involved in the discussions yet but obviously they would each want to win the category.
It is the first time the two camps are clashing having enjoyed a very good working relationship previously. The category of the best video also features Tiwa Savage and Mr Flavour among other artistes.
The awards will take place in Namibia in March.
