The weekend was not good for musician Khalifah Aganaga after he tested jail for fraud.

The singer known for his song, ‘Ndabirawa’, was arrested in Mukono for pocketing money from an events promoter, a one, Rebecca and failing to show up to perform. Rebecca reported Khalifah to the authorities in Mukono and before long, he was in the coolers.

Rebecca said that she agreed with Khalifa to perform at her venue in Mukono for 600,000shs. But when the day came, he was nowhere to be seen yet he had been given 300,000shs already. Later on, he showed up and asked for the balance which was given to him. After he received the money, Khalifah refused to perform because there were very few people.

Rebecca says that she couldn’t stomach this and decided to report to the authorities who swung in action, tracked him down and set him to the coolers.

Khalifah was later given bond after he said that he would pay back the money.

We will keep you posted.
