The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has warned the public on dealing with Julius Kavuma Kabenge on matters regarding football in the country.

It’s no secret that Kabenge was banned from engaging in the sport for eleven years following his misconduct and misdealings and is therefore not allowed to participate in any footballing activities. The ban doesn’t expire until January 2023.

In a statement released by the local football governing body, the football fraternity is cautioned about dealing with any banned officials.

“This is to remind the entire football public that making contact with persons serving football bans leads to sanctions by the FUFA Ethics Committee. FUFA further affirms that Julius Kavuma Kabenge was banned from football activities organised by or under FUFA for 11 years. This status may only change after 16th January 2023 or lifting of the ban by the appropriate bodies of FUFA as provided for in the FUFA Statutes and Regulations,” reads part of the communication on the federation’s website.
