Makindye Chief Magistrates court witnessed ‘comedy’ as city tycoon and ‘on and off’ hubby to singer Leila Kayondo, SK Mbuga was paraded before court to answer charges of assault and domestic violence against Leila on New Years day,
The plaintiff, Leila kayondo made a ‘U-turn’ and told court how she dropped the charges and that she wants her ‘hubby’ released.
“My Lord, I withdrew the charges against him and I recorded an additional statement at Kabalagala police station,” Leila said as she addressed court.
Later on Tycoon ‘Mbuga’ through his lawyers Hilal Hussein and Kenneth Paul Kakande asked for bail which was granted to him through his sureties singer Leila Kayondo 26′ and Konge based business man, a one Walakira Zaake 56′ who left behind there National Identification copies and LC1 recommendation letters.
He was later released on a non-cash bond worth 5 million shillings and ordered to appear before court on Friday, 8th January ‘without fail’
