Dancehall international superstar Spencer Garfield aka Konshens said there is a clear indication that Rwanda continues to register improvement in development processes.

Addressing the media at a press conference Konshens noted that the country has developed in a shortest period of time since the 1994 genocide against the Tutsis.

“I have been reading such bad stories about Rwanda in western media but all I see is development, that’s why I don’t give much interest to such negative stories about countries trying their best to develop,” says Konshens.

The singer also confessed that he is overwhelmed by Rwandan hospitality for the few hours he has spent in the country.

Konshens was in Rwanda to appear at Vibe party on New Years eve and stage a concert on 1st January 2016 at Amahoro stadium parking yard based in Remera.

Speaking about Rwandan music, Konshens unveiled that he has not yet listened to local music but he believes music doesn’t have language and is ready to have discussions with local musicians who will be performing at his concert.

Konshens prides of hit songs like Gal Ting, simple song, Gal bubble and couple which are super hits in local night hangouts.

He has sold out concerts in countries like Uganda, Jamaica, Kenya and Europe. Tukabyine
