Continental socialite, Zari the boss lady and ex-hubby, Ivan Ssemwanga have three boys together. But how exactly did they hook up?
When Ivan moved to South Africa, he made so much money in a short time that he needed someone to help spend it on top of giving him status among his friends.
Ivan had visited Uganda for the holidays when his eyes fell on Zari who was a local girl from Jinja. Being the money bags that he is, Ivan didn’t need to say much, he let his money and rides talk for him and before long, the two were boyfriend and girlfriend.
Ivan then used Zari to get more trust from his clients in South Africa. As a married man, they trusted him on marital issues and paid him in millions for his advice.
When he took her to South Africa, Ivan made a new shrine and gave it to Zari as startup business. The shrine was named Mama Pinto in honour of Zari’s granny.
This would lead to a 10-year long relationship that saw them make three handsome boys together, grow their business empire and later develop misunderstanding leading to a mega break up.
The two are currently living with different partners but still share time together for the sake of their children and businesses.
