Famous actors Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme popularly known as ‘Aki & Pawpaw’ respectively have recalled the time when they were in Italy, and police officers mistook them for children.

According to the dwarf actors, they landed in Italy for a show with Julius Agwu. The three entertainers were scooped from the airport by the promoter of the show.

On their way to the hotel, the Italian police stopped the promoter at a checkpoint and threatened to arrest him for not using baby carriers in his car. They thought Aki & Pawpaw were little children.

The police did not believe that Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme were adults until they showed their passports.

“I still remember that day and the feeling vividly…it was funny. Since then, Julius Agwu has been using the incident as joke in some events, but people don’t know that it’s a true life story,” Iheme said.

In May there were rumours that the actors split in May over politics, but both movie stars have come out to deny it.
