After leaving Bukedde TV to join Delta TV early this year, many people thought that Sharitah Mutaawe’s TV career was doomed. But she is now having the last laugh after she emerged among the winners of the RTV academy awards that were held on Wednesday evening at Kampala Serena hotel. Sharitah won the Female face of TV award.
In her acceptance speech, she said:
“While I was still working on Bukedde I thought it was the only station but when I resigned that’s when I saw that my doors were wide open. When I left very many people thought that my life had come to my end that how can I leave a big station and go to a smaller one but they didn’t think that doors for opportunities are always open and yes here am winning an ward great thanks to the fans who voted.”
