After releasing the Nomination list yesterday, HiPipo will tomorrow 7th December 2015 kick off the voting of the 4th Annual HiPipo awards.
The voting will be done by both SMS and online platforms with a 70:30 contribution respectively. However two categories will be determined by Judges and therefore they will not require any public voting. These are: Life Time Achievement Award and Video Trailblazer Award.
“#HMA2016 nomination list has those Artistes and Songs that got the highest number of nomination mentions from the forms filled by key stakeholders such as fans, musicians and media. Those on the list are the most deserving Artistes. As we have always said, we are not in this to appease anyone. This platform was established to appreciate Ugandan and East and African talent. Since its launch nine years ago, HiPipo has been and still committed to rewarding the very best. I congratulate all the nominees.” said the HiPipo CEO, Innocent Kawooya
A lucky voter will walk away with a Black Convertible Peugeot 207 through a draw to be conducted on the awards celeremony
