After confirming former Big Brother Africa stars Idris and Tayo for Abryanz Style and Fashion awards, the award organizer Brian Ahumuza has also confirmed Kenya’s finest singers Sauti Sol for the event come Saturday, 12th December at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
The singers who were recently in the country will be returning to the Pearl to grace the 3rd annual Abryanz style and fashion awards. The event organizers had earlier booked Empire Mates Entertainment signed Nigerian star Olubankole Wellington aka Banky W who will also be performing at the event.
“We shall for the first time host so many stars from all corners of the continent for the same event and that will be the Abryanz Style and Fashion awards,” one of the organizers told us.
Sauti Sol is a Kenyan afro-pop band formed in Nairobi by vocalists Bien-Aimé Baraza, Willis Chimano and Savara Mudigi in 2005. Initially an acapella group, guitarist Polycarp Otieno joined before they named themselves Sauti. They have this year won MTV Europe Music Award for Best African Act and were nominated in the BET for Best International Act in Africa.
