The president of the Uganda National Performing Arts Association, Mr. Andrew Benon Kibuuka has come out to clear the air on the Ugx 400 Million that President Museveni promised to the artistes.
During an interview at National Theatre, Kibuuka openly pinned singer Bebe Cool as the artist who received the money from the office of the president.
He said, “Me as the head I have never received any money from the president regarding the Tubonga Nawe project as most of the artists in that project claim. But I have been informed that all the money was officially given to Bebe Cool who spearheaded the project. I have received very many complaints from artists regarding their shares which has forced me to clarify on this issue and show every one that am green about the money. Let me hope the rightful person to ask is now known.”
We will keep you posted.
