Nigerian artist D’Banj has confessed that he didn’t know that Eddy Kenzo was from Uganda.

He made the confession during a press conference held at Kampala Serena hotel earlier today when he was asked which Ugandan artistes he knew. He mentioned some of Uganda’s top musicians like Bebe Cool and Chameleone among others leaving out Eddy Kenzo.  When prodded further whether he knew Kenzo of the Sitya loss fame, he said he knew him but didn’t know he was a Ugandan.

D’Banj will perform this Friday at Club Guvnor in the “Art of Tropical Luxury” party where a Ciroc Pineapple, a new brand of Ciroc Vodka will be launched.  Tickets go for 200K.
