Radio and Weasel

Musicians Radio and Weasel have spoken about the force that has helped them to stay together for years since the inception of their duo back in 2008.

When the Amaaso stars were asked to explain how they have managed to avoid breaking up despite most Ugandan groups breaking up in the last couple of years, the duo heaped all the credit to communication amongst themselves.

“Yes, duos come and go and a lot makes this happen but mostly for us we believe in communication as the only way to remain together. Radio and Weasel do everything as brothers. We make sure everyone knows what the other is doing and let each other know about what is happening in the life of the other. We agree on a lot of things because we are always on the same page,” Weasel told a local entertainment magazine.

Radio added that the issue of persistence has also contributed to their long stay together. “It has also taken us a lot of persistence and being very consistent with our music outflow,” he noted.

During the interview, the duo emphasized that miscommunication is the major cause of breakup in Ugandan music groups. “A duo needs to be in sync and communicate all the time to avoid breakups. Also you have to release music all the time, if you stop someone will take your place because it is a war out there.”

We will keep you posted.
