Even though official reports have it that Mary Luswata is currently sick, which explains her absence from the screens, we’ve learned that it may not be true. On the contrary, inside sources have revealed to us that Mary Luswata threw in the towel after asking for a payraise which her bosses denied.
The Presenter of Scoop on Scoop has thus decided to go for Kyeyo in search for greener pastures. “Mary Luswata was broke. She was tired of using a bodaboda everyday and living mouth to mouth every single month. It was just a matter of time,” says a close friend.
“To make matters worse, her show has lost popularity. She got too comfortable and people begun ignoring her show, besides she ostracized many people. She was being ignored. The views had really slumped. She had to resign before it was too late,” the close friend reveals.
The broke and fading star thus begun sending out messages to friends and relatives abroad informing them of her desire to leave the country. The managers at the station couldn’t increase her salary as her “stock” had lost value.
As we speak now, Luswata is in a foreign land where she’s yet to land a work permit. She is very stressed but we hope everything will work out for her own good.
