Bomgi Nutraceuticals, an African company has embarked on creating solutions that can best address African challenges such as malnutrition, illness and poverty.

Through the production of an organic multi vitamin supplement “Booster Plus”, Bomgi is creating one of the most reliable solutions to avoid malnutrition and prevent occurrence of diseases.

During the company launch held at Kampala Serena Hotel on 1st November that was attended by over 500 people, the CEO of Bomgi Nutraceuticals Prof. Brian Holmes called upon the masses to join hands in spearheading the use of African Solutions to tackle challenges on the continent. “We have all the answers in Africa, we can solve our problems because God has gifted this continent” he said. “it is better for us to stand out as Heroes for our communities,” he added.

Prof. Holmes added that using Moringa Oleifera which is abundant in Africa as an ingredient in Booster Plus helps to create a sustainable income for the Moringa farmers. He encouraged people to start using Booster Plus so that they can stabilize their immunity and be able to fight diseases.

Prof. Holmes also encouraged distributors and clients to go beyond selling Booster Plus to using and sharing it with their families so as to enjoy good health. He reaffirmed Ugandans of Bomgi’s commitment to create renewed health for Africa. “Any person whose life has been impacted by our company and Booster Plus is the heart of Bomgi,” he said.

According to the testimonies by some of the people who have used Booster plus, they have seen tremendous improvements in their health conditions. Martha Osiro, Centre manager for Aga Khan University Hospital in Uganda shared her joy about how Booster Plus helped her son recover from molluscum, a viral infection that causes bumps on one’s skin. “My son recovered from molluscum that was all over his face in just two weeks of using Booster Plus,” Martha said.

The chief guest Dr. Grace Nambatya Director of Natural Chemotherapeutics Research Institute (Ministry of Health) and a board member of the National Drug Authority presided over the function and officially launched Bomgi Nutraceuticals in Uganda. She called upon members to support companies that are using locally sourced ingredients to create African solutions.

She applauded Bomgi Nutraceuticals for being the best nutritional supplement company that will be a game changer in achieving a healthy nation and pledged to extend support through the Ministry of Health; by facilitating awareness campaigns about the science and proven benefits behind Booster Plus as a nutritional supplement.

Dr. Grace appreciated the Principal Scientific Officer of Bomgi Dr. Senoga Ismael for opening his mind about multi vitamin supplementation and also urged other doctors and nurses to be open minded about recommending multi vitamin supplements like Booster Plus to patients because the research and clinical trials support its efficiency as an immune booster.

The launch was summed with a raffle draw where some people won boxes of Booster Plus, T-shirts and a Nakumatt shopping voucher.
