Former Big Brother housemate and media personality Denzel seems to have found an A-list friend in American RnB superstar Ne-Yo. The pop sensation who thrilled fans in the Bell Pop’n Jam concert on Friday at Lugogo Cricket Oval is having a bromance with the XFM and Urban TV presenter.
It all started when Denzel interviewed the “Miss Independent” hit maker on Coke Studio Africa in August. The two then forged a friendship which was bolstered with Ne-Yo’s recent appearance in Uganda. Their closeness was evident at his press conference where Ne-Yo treated Denzel with a lot of familiarity.
“There are some priceless moments in life…like when you walk into a press conference and NeYo points at you and says… “hey man, good to see you again” before instructing his security to let you come say hi,” Denzel later noted after the press conference.
To further affirm their friendship, Ne-Yo followed back Denzel on Twitter much to the excitement of the Radio and TV personality.
With palpable joy, he shared the news on social media, writing: “Guess who now follows me on Twitter!#humbled”
