Musician and producer Frank Jay has come out to claim that his song “Tubonga ne movement” which was released in 2013 was plagiarized by musicians who recently released a song praising the President titled “Tubonga Nawe“. Frank Jay claims they coined the “Tubonga Nawe” title from his song.

When asked whether he was planning to sue, Frank Jay stated that he has no such intentions and none the less he has no resources to do so. He added that all he seeks is attention from the President’s office to have him on the list of musicians meant to campaign for the President.

He goes ahead to claim that he once received a call from State house informing him that his song was chosen among the songs that were going to be used during the presidential campaigns but it seems the deal did not pan out.
